Getting back in the cockpit?

I wasn't sure where to post this, so mods feel free to move it.

I am going through a tough time in my life right now. I am on the verge of loosing my family. I took a job that is keeping me away from them, am wrapped into a training contract which I am probably going to break, and am thinking about talking to a doctor about getting on some meds to deal with everything. I might already have a good paying job lined up that will hold me over for a while because honestly I don't think I should be in an airplane right now. But I am a little concerned about the long term implications of what I am considering so I figured I bounce this off the members here.

Has anyone ever gone on anti-depressants and been able to get back into the cockpit of a decent paying gig? I am not sure if I want to go to the airlines or not yet. I have been doing 135 work for a while now, and I am satisfied with it. So I think I might stay here, but am undecided.

How is breaking the training contract going to effect me in the future. I have decided to pay the thing if they force me to. But I do know that it's going to be a black mark on my record. Thanks in advance.
