Just got "awarded" VA disability (who ever came up with using the term "award" for disability has a sick sense of humor.
Anyway got a couple of concerns about my next class two. I don't fly for the airlines so I only need the class two. But I have some issues on paper that might cause a delay. Nothing that would ground me according to the guide for AME's just some things that a cautious AME might want a second opinion on. I don't take any meds for any of the issues and all are controlled through diet.
I'd like to run things by a "friendly" AME first and make sure I have all the right documentation. I am trying to avoid the potential 6 months delay while I wait for the FAA to review my military medical history.
Has anyone ever used one of those FAA medical help companies and can they recommend one?
