Pay for training in the 90s. PFT?

I am looking for some background on the PFT programs of the early to mid 1990's.

In particular the "Flight Safety Airline Transition Training program" and the one Comair had with Comair Aviation Academy.

I know ACA (Atlantic Coast Airlines) had this from 93 until 98 I believe. As well as ASA, Bizex, Jetstream Intl, Continental Express, Express Airlines I..dba Northwest Airlink, Lonestar, Moehawk, GP Express and a host of others.

I am particularly interested in Continental Express. I remember from about 1992 until around 1998-1999 they were PFT and the buy a job price varied from the Beech 1900 to the ATR-42.

Any and all information appreciated about this time in history when there were such glut of pilots that an ATP and 200 hours ME was not enough so you needed to pony up $12,500!
