Luggage Works Flight Kit

2 weeks ago I bought a brand new LW Leather Flight Kit, the nice $200 version, figuring it would last me a while.

It started fraying and coming apart on the inside after ONE WEEK of use, and I wasn't even beating the thing up! :eek:

I traded it in today for another one, hoping it's just a bad batch or something like that.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with LW products? I don't want to splurge on anything more expensive because my airline is likely going EFB within the next few months. Can anyone recommend the ballistic nylon bags or any other brands out there?
