I have my Commercial-multi instrument, 650TT, and have been towing banners seasonally for one company now for the past 2 years. Recently another local banner tow company hired me for weekday flights, also seasonally, so I can fly for the other company on the weekends. Both have pretty good pay ($20/hr). Also, one promised a raise to $30/hr, and the other 100hrs in a king air 100. I have have 2 other opportunities both wanting me full-time for aerial surveying, or being a jump-pilot. I admit, I am getting tired of the low and slow pace of banner towing, and would love a change up. It seems both banner tow companies rely on me deeply for this upcoming season. Should I suck it up and continue with towing, or move on for this coming season?
