"ILFC’s portfolio consists of over 1,000 owned or managed aircraft, as well as commitments to purchase 233 new high-demand, fuel-efficient aircraft and rights to purchase an additional 50 such aircraft."

AA just did a sale/lease back deal on 15 new 737-800's, it would be interesting to put together a database on how many airframes at US carriers are owned by ILFC.
