Example 3
In this example, if we see this pairing any more (unlikely), you will be well paid for it. ------------------------------------------------------------------- E3178

TOTAL CR: 29:00 TOTAL BLK: 17:00 TAFB: 116:00
Min 5/Calendar Day: 6 days x 5 = 30
Trip Rig: 1 hour pay for 3.5 hours TAFB: 116:00/3.5 = 33:08
Duty Rig: 1 hour pay for 2 hours duty: (9:25/2 = 4:43) + (10:35/2 = 5:18) = 10:01
The pilot is paid the greatest of the three, or trip rig, which makes this trip pay 33:08 hours.
LOA 25
- Time Away from Base Rig
For one (1) year after the Operational Merger Date (as defined by the Transition and Process Agreement dated September 26, 2010), Section 5-G-3 of the Agreement shall read as follows: Schedules shall contain a minimum of one (1) hour pay value for each four (4) hours elapsed time away from his Base, prorated on a schedule or actual basis whichever is greater.
TPA
1-R. Operational Merger Date. The first day of the Complete Operational Merger.
1-E. Complete Operational Merger. The operation of Continental and United as a single air carrier under a Single Operating Certificate issued by the FAA, after establishment of a single transportation system under the RLA, and under both the Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement and an Integrated Seniority List.
So, let me guess this straight. We do NOT go to "Trip Rig" of 1 hour Pay for 3.5 TAFB unitl....
June 2014 at the earliest!
IF this POS TA passes in mid Dec.. 6 months later we could/should have an ISL. For one year after that, we will remain at one (1) hour of pay value for each four (4) hours...
So why is our own Union misleading us?!
Can someone else look at this and verify..
Thanks

PS> What happens if the SIL is held up in court?
