Hopefully, we all have experienced this in our lives. Last month I left my IPad, a nice one with 3G, with my car keys in a restroom at a place of business that has traffic. About 45 minutes later both were returned to me. I didn't realize I had lost them. I couldn't believe someone did not take it. And I live in metroplex not some small city. Once I lost my car keys in a dog park, people were trying to help me find them. We could not because the sun had set. I was able to get home with an extra set I had. I had to leave to go out of town. Came back four days later the keys were hanging on the fence. I usually don't lose things ever. Last year I made the mistake and not taking the right bus to the terminal to the airport. I found a taxi offering to take me for free to the place I needed to be. Yes I tipped.
I usually return the favor by buying the next person in Starbucks a cup of coffee. Yes it is random person. I call it paying forward. Being kind to one another makes life easier on one another. Rjl
